What is it, and why is it happening?
This is a national requirement aimed to ensure that every patient has a named GP who oversees and coordinates their care.
How do I find out who my named GP is?
You can still choose to see any of our GPs, you don’t have to book to see your named GP. However, if you would like to know who your named GP is please contact reception.
What if my named GP isn’t my usual GP?
It shouldn’t make any difference to your care if the GP you are seeing is different from your named GP. But if you would like to be reallocated to another GP please contact reception.
Do I have to see my named GP in the future?
No, you can continue to book appointments with any of our GPs.
