Enhanced access

Early morning (7am to 8am) and evening (6:30pm to 8pm) appointments are available at the practice with a GP, nurse, pharmacist and physiotherapist.

Getting to us

The surgery is situated on the Norwood Road, opposite Brockwell Park and almost on the corner with Rosendale Road.

There are two bus stops within 100 yards of the surgery for bus route numbers 68, 196, 322 and 468. Bus routes 3, 37 and 201 stop nearby at Herne Hill station or Half Moon Lane.

Herne Hill station is the closest national rail station, just over 5 minutes walk from the surgery, with services running from Victoria and London Bridge on Southeastern, Southern and First Capital Connect train companies. Tulse Hill station is a little further away, at around 10 minutes walk from the surgery.

If you are disabled please ensure that you have your blue badge with you so that you can park on the street immediately outside the surgery. Should you need to park a vehicle, there is some parking available in Rosendale Road which is currently permit and parking control free. Hawarden and Guernsey Grove have parking controls from midday to 2pm.

Please do not park in the forecourt as clinical staff need to get in and out of the practice to attend to home visits and emergencies.

If you need help when we are closed

The NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day and can provide patient information, issue prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, book a GP appointment, and, if necessary, refer people to emergency services.

You may also be able to get out of hours advice from a local pharmacy – for opening hours, please visit Find a pharmacy – NHS (www.nhs.uk).

Accident & Emergency (A&E)

Our nearest A&Es are at King’s College Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital and St George’s Hospital. If you have an emergency such as suspected broken bones please make your own arrangements to get to A&E e.g. car or taxi. If you have any concerns as to whether or not to call an ambulance please visit the London Ambulance Service website for some more advice.

A&E is under severe pressure and should only be used if it is a genuine accident or emergency. If the surgery is closed, you should contact NHS 111 for all your health needs which are not related to an accident or emergency or wait until the next day that the surgery is open.
