Travel Vaccinations
Thinking of travelling abroad at the last minute? Hoping to book a fantastic deal on the internet, or get a bargain at the travel agents? Please remember WE MAY NOT HAVE LAST MINUTE TRAVEL APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE. Your health safety is your responsibility. Also please factor in the cost of any immunisations you may need.
We are a Yellow Fever Centre, this means we are able to give this vaccination to both registered and non-registered/temporary patients and is applicable to yellow fever only, you cannot register as a temporary patient and use our travel clinic for any other vaccinations. The cost is £61.50 to registered patients, and £66.50 to non-registered patients, and is payable in advance.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete our travel health questionnaire and return it to us at least six weeks before you travel. This is because some immunisations require more than one dose to complete a course, or take time before they are effective. Once our nurse has reviewed your form you will be contacted to arrange an appointment.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
